Eczema
Skin problems should be treated from inside the body
because they arise from excess toxins in the system This may be because
the liver and kidneys need support for optimal
efficiency, or it may be due to an overload of toxins taken into the
body. The skin is used by the body for elimination. Skin problems should
not be suppressed on the surface with creams. The problem is usually
coming from within, and putting on creams is not the answer. The underlying
causes of the problems must be established and treated.
Good nutrition is important for a healthy skin. In treating skin conditions
it is useful to treat
the major channels of elimination, the liver and kidneys. This is to
encourage toxic elimination via the proper channels.
Acne is treated using herbal skin and elimination remedies. Eczema requires
a skilled approach to avoid exacerbating the problem. Herbs are used
which have a long
standing history of success in Eczema. Many cases of eczema may surface
during a time of
stress. In such cases there is a place for herbal nerve remedies in
the prescription. Some cases of eczema are of allergic origin, caused
by contact or by food sensitivities. Known allergens must be avoided.
